Notifications of communicable disease received through
to October 2001 are summarised in Table 3 and Figure 1.
Of note are the continuing epidemic of pertussis occurring
throughout the State, and a mild resurgence of hepatitis A
(12 cases were reported in South Eastern Sydney in
October, but no links were identified among them).
