Call for papers 2020

Public Health Research & Practice (PHRP) is calling for papers from policy makers, practitioners and researchers for upcoming themed issues.

Proffered papers on any topic, which meet our editorial criteria, are welcome throughout the year.

Proposed upcoming themes include:

  • December 2020 − Public health in the face of extreme events (e.g. bushfires, COVID-19, floods, extreme heat): deadline for submissions 31 July 2020.

Public health policy makers, practitioners and researchers are also welcome to submit articles about their areas of expertise. Article types published by PHRP include perspectives, research, ‘in practice’ and brief reports.

Editorial criteria and requirements for submitting manuscripts, detailed instructions for each article type, formatting requirements and information on the presentation and submission of tables, figures and images are available on our website.

Authors can submit manuscripts in ScholarOne via our website and can also subscribe to receive quarterly e-alerts when the journal is published, make suggestions about themes or topics for future issues, and follow us on Twitter @phrpjournal
